PAST
Before 2 HOT 2 STOP there were two boys, Leo and Andrew. They both created and imagined notes, sounds , music , each influenced by their own vision.Thus, Leo (Leonard Chaparian – Norway) expressed this passion for music in a band called Quadraphonics between 1995 and 2002. The band played at Toronto Azid-jazz Festival Canada in 1997, recorded an album at Victory Drive Studios with the producer Jono Grant. Quadraphonics signed a record deal with Virgin Records Norway and had several hits on the Radio. In 1998 the band went to Philadelphia, USA and did a collaboration with DJ-Jazzy Jeff, recorded six songs, signed a Record deal with a Touch of Jazz records and toured Norway in the next period. In the years after he has been working mostly with songwriting. Dj Creep , the hot-blooded Creep ( Andrei Ivanescu – Romania ) started as a DJ in several different clubs on the Black Sea area in Romania, in the same time he started produce music for local rappers and artists. As time went by he started experimenting with many different genres, finally quitting the DJ career and concentrating on the production part of the music.
PRESENT
It all started in 2009 when the two artists met, another reason why we tend to think that nothing is coincidental . With the combined styles of classical white nordic music and hot soulfull funky romanian music, they invented a new sound and unique style. Imagination , creation , their music has gone along in what today is called 2 HOT 2 STOP. What governs the work done in this band is originality , which lies at the basis of what is 2 HOT 2 STOP in the music world today.
FUTURE
The future is represented by the members traces , traces that reflect the vision of what will be or should be 2 HOT 2 STOP. The members of this band see the music made by them as a future universal language as a way to express your state of mind , as a spiritual feed. And so the main traces are represented by their musical creation and the satisfaction of the public…
